Star Cross'dHere’s our first game, Star Cross’d. It is a cunning little Shakespeare themed dice game. Each player is the head of a household in old Verona, and are vying to gain the most influence with the right combination of duels and marriages. It’s a very fun and deceptively strategic game. It requires a large number of six sided dice, 5 per player.During play testing, someone asked me the names of the six houses that each player would represent. I didn’t want to include that in the rules proper, but for those of you that are interested I’ve worked out a list. The 6 houses in Shakespeare’s Verona, in alphabetical order are: Capulet, Escalus, Montague, Petruccio, Proteus, & Thurio. |
